I can’t thank Matthew enough for the support and guidance he gave me. After being out of work for over three years due to extreme medical issues, I was starting to lose hope. But Matthew took the time to really understand my situation and helped me see that I still had value to offer. I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life, and I honestly had no idea where to even start. I felt stuck, unsure of what I’d be good at, and too overwhelmed to figure it out on my own. Working with Rae made such a difference. She started by helping me explore my interests through career assessments and guided conversations, which gave me a clearer picture of what might actually be a good fit for me. Once I had some direction, she helped me take real steps—first by getting me enrolled in school, and later by helping me find a job that matched where I was at in my life. We didn’t rush anything. When starting this journey I had no idea where to begin. Six years ago, I had a life threatening illness that left me disabled. I never really bounced back from that and what I was able to do since the illness had completely changed. Rae walked with me hand in hand through the process of encouraging me to go back to physician's which ultimately resulted in a current and correct diagnosis. This led to more courage for me to start services that would help me sharpen and improve the skills which truly increased my self confidence exponentially such as speech therapy and other modalities as such. Rae is extremely knowledgeable and intuitive about what a person might need or benefit from, to return to the work force. She spent so much time with me every week getting to know me as a person, my education and background and my dreams for employment moving forward. I attended her groups which helped tremendously with self confidence and education. She really cared and truly wanted to help me! I am now going to start a new job that I have always wanted in my field after six years, which will utilized my education and employment history. The employers are aware of my challenges and are making accommodations thanks to Rae negotiating this for me. She handled EVERYTHING including finding this job to apply for! This is her calling! If if wasn't for her, I would be sitting on the couch for the rest of my life. Now I will be getting the help I need and working in my field! This is her true calling. I used to frown on groups, but these services have helped me immensely by giving me purpose and the hope that I can obtain employment with my ADA abilities. Before starting the services provided by MattRaeGo, I was so discouraged due to my limited abilities.
